The Impacts of the Holocaust

The United States Holocaust Museum was created to educate others about the horrific era of the Holocaust, what happened, who was affected, and the consequences and impacts that it left behind. One of the museums most important departments is called Holocaust Survivors and Victims Resource Center. This is where the stories of those who lived through the Holocaust were told so that the public can get a better grasp of what these people actually went through.

Anne Frank & Elie Wiesel

Both these people are probably the most familiar names that you hear about associated with the Holocaust. "The Diary of Anne Frank" and "Night" are both very informative and realistic stories of what happened to them during the era of the Holocaust. The trageties that happened to Anne Frank and Elie Wiesel were horrible, but it is important to remember that there were so many more trageties resulted from the Holocaust. It included over 1,000,000 Jewish children, 2,000,000 Jewish woman, and 3,000,000 Jewish men.
