Big picture

Dear Manning Families,

I enjoyed meeting many of you last week during our registration - I always love the energy that comes at the start of every new school year! As you know, this week, we officially begin the 2023/2024 school year here at Manning and we cannot wait to get started! As a reminder, all sixth graders and new-to-Manning seventh and eighth graders will join us on Tuesday, August 15 for orientation from 8am-12pm. During this time, students will meet their teachers and learn more about life at Manning. On Wednesday, August 16, we will welcome back all of our Manning Mustangs for our official first day of school! It’s going to be a great year!

In Partnership,

Matt

Hey Library Friends! Don’t forget to complete your reading and activities for the Jeffco Library summer reading challenge here. The school with the most number of finishers wins $800 and you could win free tickets to MeowWolf or an iPad.

This year students will only be able to install apps and extensions from an approved district list. If they are missing apps installed previously, this is the reason why.

All student chromebooks will restart weekly at 2:00am on Sundays. Students will have the option to reopen tabs after the restart.

During library orientation this week, students will learn how to troubleshoot their chromebooks, and how to request additional help with their device. This year, students will complete this form to request additional help after following some basic troubleshooting steps. If the chromebook cannot be repaired on-site, it will be swapped out with a different device, which will become the student’s new device.
