“Bath salts” is the name given to a family of drugs that have one or more man made chemicals related to Cathinone.

1. Bath salts can be swallowed, snorted through the nose, inhaled, or injected with a needle.

2. They increase dopemine in brain paths that control reward and movement.

3. They can cause heart problems and they cause nearly 23,000 emergency visits in 2011

4. Bath salts are highly addictive and most users have an urge to use it again

5. Bath salts are lethal when abused and you can over dose

6. Around 22,900 teens abuse this drug every year
