Field Trip Information from Nurse Henderson: If you are planning to take any field trips, or have your students attending any other schools in our district, I must be notified in a timely manner (minimum of 1 week prior to event). This is to ensure that any medications that may need to be taken are approved, to alert you or any other adult attending if a student has any medical needs, and to also let the other schools nurse aware of any students coming to their school whom may have potential medical needs.

SCDOE School Climate Surveys

The State Climate Survey for teachers and students is now available. As you know, the completion of the survey is very important and factors into our South Carolina School Report Card which is posted publicly on both our district website and the state website. Each school must have an 80 percent completion rate of this survey from BOTH students and certified staff.

The Admin Team has begun working with students on completing their survey. We are now asking you (All Certified Staff) to begin completing your survey. Instructions for accessing and completing the survey are attached. Please complete your survey by end of the day on Monday (3/20).

Confidentiality Notice: Although surveys are completed through PowerSchool apps, the surveys are confidential. The district and schools are not provided access to individual student or teacher responses. Summary data are provided and analyzed by student subgroups in accordance with federal reporting mandates.
