A Message from Proud Principal, Laura Clark
As most of you probably heard, the strong winds Thursday caused a power outage at our school. The back up generators quickly went into action but the lights were definitely a little dimmer. As the assistant principals and I walked the hallways checking in on classrooms, a cute little first grader asked me, "Did you turn off the school lights as a TRICK?". I couldn't help but laugh. Only in an elementary school does the power go out on Book Character Day which also happened to be Halloween. I am proud to say that even during the outage our staff and students continued with their day. What PRIDE!
Have a wonderful weekend with your kiddos making memories!
Proud to be your Principal,
Mrs. Clark

New! RBES Parent Survey in Parent Portal
Yes, this is the second parent survey this year. This survey is very important and we need you!
Great things are happening at Parsons. This survey gives us the opportunity to show our Parsons Pride and share our perception of all the wonderful things our school community is doing for our students. Our school success is evidence of the power collaboration among stakeholders...because we ALL work together, Parsons' students are 'Achieving and Believing'!
Each year, GCPS gives parents the opportunity to complete a survey about their child's school. This survey is available through the parent portal. Please take a few minutes to complete the survey by November 22, 2019. The results are utilized as part of our school evaluation at the county level and we appreciate your input. If you do not have access to the parent portal, you can come to the school and complete the survey by picking up a paper copy in the front office. Thank you in advance for completing this important task. Please visit the parent portal to begin the survey.
