Friday, February 21 - Christian Youth Theater presents SHREK THE MUSICAL: based on the Oscar® winning DreamWorks film that started it all, brings the hilarious story of everyone's favorite ogre to dazzling new life on the stage.

Friday, March 7 - Snakes Alive: by examining the characteristics of several live Kansas Snakes, students will develop an understanding of these often maligned legless reptiles, Students will use observation and scientific inquiry to debunk common myths and fears and snakes. Tactual discussion about snakes will include physical traits, size ranges, reproduction, adaptive coloration, sorting by predation type and safety. (Suggested for 2nd grade and up)


Friday, March 14 - Lego and Chess at 10 am. All ages and skill levels welcome.


Friday, April 4 - Green Thumb Gardeners: Roll-up your sleeves and dig in as students explore the world of plants and how they grow. Little gardeners will learn how to make a garden, plant seeds, have a scavenger hunt, and go hunting for bugs. (Suggested for Preschool - 3rd grade)

Friday, May 2 - Cup Stacking Basics: cup stacking helps develop bilateral proficiency equal, performance on both sides of the body. By increasing bilateral proficiency, a participant develops a greater percentage of the right side of the brain, which houses awareness, focus, creativity and rhythm. Stacking helps train the brain for sports and other activities where the use of both hands is important, such as playing a musical instrument or using the computer. Sequencing and patterning are also elements

of sport stacking, which can help with reading and math skills.”
