NP3's True Colors
As you dive into a week of great energy, I encourage you to reflect on the past days of learning - and let the beginnings of building relationships, guide the way. The quality of relationships we build, make our school amazingly different. They contribute to ensuring a safe and connected feeling for our students and families. Let the commitments to our true colors you helped create in PD be a reminder and symbol of the presence of everyone's differences, needs, contributions, and challenges as you continue to build relationships this week!
NP3 staff commitment examples:
- "I will remember to ask others for input."
- "Be mindful of big picture; not lost in logistics."
- "Learn the colors of my Advisory kids."
- "Appreciating that we are stronger as a mixed group than as a single group."
- "I will respect others' differences in ways of thinking."
- "Thinkers are listeners."
- "Be considerate of all personalities and know that we are all working towards one common goal."
- "Try not to take things so personally."
- "Stay open to new ideas."
- "I will commit to being a greater support for all color categories."
- "I will be aware of all the colors."
- "Learning teammates colors and learning how to support them."
- "I will be more cognizant of other colors and grow in other colors."
- "I will use my grade level team to the best of their abilities."
- "Make sure everyone is included and sharing."
- "I will be more aware of the challenges each team member may be struggling with."
- "I commit to celebrating our different styles, because thinkers need planners to hammer out the details, movers to make it happen, and connectors to bringing it all together."
- "Love seeing at the end - that almost every department and grade level team was composed of every color."
- "I need to be mindful of thinkers and their ideas."
- "To be more aware of what my teacher partner needs based on color type."
- "I will try to incorporate other personality types."
- "I will ask all what their thoughts are."
- "I till build trust, safety and relationships in order to help everyone feel comfortable, heard and valued."
