Brackenridge Early College overview
- Focus on career opportunities in Media Production, Animation/Game Design and Graphic Design under the Business and Industry endorsement
- Career courses closely align to related programs at St. Philip’s College San Antonio College
- Provides opportunities for practical application through internships with local news outlets and coverage of district events such as graduations and sports matches

Burbank International Baccalaureate World School overview
- International Baccalaureate (IB) World School offering the IB Diploma Program
- Students start by taking a mix of IB-prep and AP courses in their freshman and sophomore year and then move onto IB courses during their last two years
- Curriculum encourages students to participate in creative and service-oriented activities, while at the same emphasizing the importance of reflection on a personal and academic level
CAST Medical High School overview
- Students will follow one of three pathways: Biomedical Research, Medical Professionals or Public Health Professionals
- The intent of CAST Med High School is to provide high school students a strong foundation, especially in mathematics and science, so that they can be successful once they enroll in college and achieve their medical career aspirations. College coursework will be embedded in classroom curriculum, allowing students to graduate with a high school diploma and a minimum of 30 hours of college coursework
- Students also will have the opportunity to learn from industry partners and gain real-world experience through extracurricular study groups, summer enrichment programs, job shadowing, mentorships, internships, volunteer experiences, and clinical and research opportunities
CAST Tech High School overview
- Implements personalized and project-based learning to provide students with customized, real-world experiences
- Some features of the unique program include flexible schedules, hands-on projects and real world problems to solve, as well as job shadowing, mentorships, internships and job opportunities upon graduation
- College coursework is embedded in the program, and students can graduate with an associate’s degree, industry certifications and portfolios that feature long-term projects and other examples of their work.
Edison High School – Health Professions overview
- Career opportunities in the health industry and opportunity to earn an endorsement in either Public Service or STEM
- Clinical Observation opportunities for all fields through Metropolitan Hospital, San Antonio Christian Dental, St. Francis Nursing Facility, San Antonio area fire departments, and various pharmacies
- Certifications offered: Certified Nursing Assistant, Pharmacy Technician, Dental Assistant, EKG/Monitor Technician and Fire Fighter Certification.
Fox Tech High School – Health Professions overview
- 2012 National Blue Ribbon School offering career opportunities in the health industry and the opportunity to earn an endorsement in either Public Service or STEM
- Students receive hands-on lessons in the school’s state-of-the-art medical simulation facility, as well as participate in educational visits to magnet partners, such as Baptist Medical Center, University Health System and the University of Texas Health Science Center
- Dual credit opportunities with San Antonio College and the University of Texas at San Antonio
Fox Tech High School – Law Professions overview
- 2012 National Blue Ribbon School offering career opportunities in law and legal services and the opportunity to earn an endorsement in Public Service
- Students are introduced to and given a foundation for careers in law, including legal studies, criminology, social work, politics and other law-related professions
- Students are able to observe and interact with professionals at City Hall, local law firms and county, municipal and federal courthouses. They also receive valuable experience by participating in the state’s Mock Trial competition
Highlands High School – Engineering Magnet overview
- Focus on career opportunities in Engineering, Networking and Computer Science (Project Lead the Way) under the STEM endorsement
- Engineering – Engineering design, Robotics, Auto CAD and SolidWorks Certifications, ACE Mentor Program for Architecture, Construction and Engineering
- Computer Science – Dual Enrollment Computer Science Course (college credit with UT Austin), AP Computer Science A with industry mentors, FIRST Robotics Club $10,000 grant from 3M
- Networking & Info Tech – Computer maintenance, Networking, Cyber Security, Cyber Patriot Teams, CompTIA Certifications
Sam Houston High School – Cyber P-TECH USA overview
- Focus on preparing students with the skills, credentials and an industry-specific associate degree necessary for high-wage, high-demand careers in cybersecurity
- Under the model, within four to six years, students will be able to earn a high school diploma, an associate degree, a two-year post-secondary certificate or industry certification, and complete work-based training through internships, apprenticeships or other job-training programs
- Through St. Philip’s, Cyber P-TECH students will have the opportunity to earn an Associate of Applied Science in Information Technology Cybersecurity Specialistdegree
Jefferson International Baccalaureate World School overview
- IB framework encourages students to participate in creative and service-oriented activities, while at the same emphasizing the importance of reflection on a personal and academic level
- AVID National Demonstration School promoting a strong college-going culture through the development of study skills, time management, and organization
Lanier High School – Engineering Magnet overview
- Advanced and rigorous curriculum in all core subjects with a focus on career opportunities in one of four different strands or “majors” to choose from: Architecture, Construction, Automotive Technology (under the Business & Industry endorsement), and Engineering (under the STEM endorsement)
- Bond 2010 provided state-of-the-art facilities and learning laboratories, including industry-standard automotive and construction spaces
- Students network and compete locally and nationally in SkillsUSA events
St. Philip’s Early College High School overview
- Enables students to earn an Associate of Arts, Associates of Applied Science and/or workforce certification while completing the requirements for their high school diploma at no cost
- Students are housed full-time at St. Philip’s, where they take both high school and college-level classes and have access to the college’s facilities such as the Turbon Student Center
- Opportunity to obtain industry certification in Information Technology or Automotive Technology
Travis Early College High School overview
- 2017 National Blue Ribbon School where college-level learning begins immediately, with students enrolling in their first college courses beginning in the 9th grade
- Walking distance to San Antonio College where courses are offered
- Complete a high school diploma while earning up to 60 hours of college credit and/or an Associate Degree at no cost
