Samantha Birkett, House 6-1 House 6-1 is happy to announce Samantha Birkett as the House 6-1 Student of the Month. Samantha is always to class on time and ready to learn. Samantha is a great friend to everybody she comes in contact with and is always willing to help others. She makes sure that her work is done to the highest standards. Samantha has a smile on her face and a positive attitude. Jefferson is proud to have you representing them. Keep up the great work! | Aaron Farley, House 6-1 House 6-1 is proud to announce Aaron Farley as our Student of the Month. Aaron is a conscientious worker who routinely checks his grades and meets all deadlines. He advocates for himself. Aaron often remains behind in class to assist others or to help clean up the room for his peers and teachers. He works hard and always gives it his all. We are happy to have you as a Hillhawk! Keep up the great work! | Randal Hardwick, House 6-2 House 6-2 is proud to announce Randal Hardwick as a House 6-2 Student of the Month. Randal is very respectful to students and adults in our school by being polite and following directions and school expectations. He advocates for himself and takes pride in his school work. Randal is on time for class, well-organized and ready to learn! Randal puts forth excellent effort in all of his work and always has a positive attitude. Caleb Heims, House 6-2 When House 6-2 teachers think of excellence in behavior and academics, Caleb Heims comes to mind. Caleb will readily join any group with a positive attitude and willingness to work toward a common goal. On many occasions he will lead discussion in small groups and keep his group on task. He is never short of ideas and is always able to express his ideas clearly through written and spoken word. Caleb took an active role in Young Citizen Forum this year, even as a first time participant. He didn’t hesitate to add to the discussion and shared his ideas respectfully and responsibly. We are very proud of Caleb’s work at Jefferson! | Ashtan Carner, House 7-1 Ashtan Carner is a smiling face that everyone at Jefferson welcomes. In the classroom she can regularly be seen raising her hand to volunteer her opinions in class. In addition to adding to discussions, her well thought out responses to questions is always appreciated. While working in groups Ashtan works to keep all group members focused and on task. Her ability to be a natural leader is welcomed in group work. Her kind demeanor makes her an easy person to work with. In language arts class she was writer of the month. She not only excels in the classroom but it has been said that she has, “The voice of an angel”. Friends of Ashtan say that she is a very sweet student who has a humorous side. Both teachers and students are lucky to have Ashtan Carner in house 7-1. Thanks you Ashtan for being a leader, a hard worker, and a sweet and caring person! | Avery Setter, House 7-1 Avery Setter is a happy and outgoing student here at Jefferson. She always has a kind smile and a friendly hello for anyone that she crosses paths with during the day. Avery is a very responsible and caring student. She always gets her work done and she is willing to work with anybody both in and out of class. On the volleyball court, Avery was an excellent team player and she did very well at the serving line. Avery is an excellent writer. She is able to successfully put down her words on paper and have it come across as meaningful to the reader. Avery is motivated by things that challenge her and she will advocate for herself if she feels strongly about something. Avery is also part of the Jefferson Orchestra and she is part of the cast of our school musical this year, “The Sound of Music”. Thank you Avery for being such an awesome member of House 7-1 and for representing us as our Student of the Month. |

Keshauna Bodley, House 7-2 Keshauna is an excellent candidate for Student of the Month. I can always count on her to help me or another student. She’s very kind, caring, respectful and responsible. Keshauna has good manners and always turns her work in on time. She always comes to class organized and prepared with her materials. She is conscientious and strives to get good grades. Keshauna is a talented writer and participates a lot in class. She is a strong, independent, young woman who is not afraid to stand up for what she believes in. Given all of these reasons, Keshauna is a wonderful role model for all of the students in 7-2. | Dwain Enoch, House 7-2 Dwain is an even-keeled, easy-going guy who works hard and always tries his best. He cares about his grades and strives to turn his assignments in on time. He is thoughtful, caring, and mature. Dwain gets involved in school by playing basketball. He illustrates what it means to be “respectful, responsible, and safe”. For these and many other reasons, Dwain is a great role model and a perfect candidate for Student of the Month. | Riley Bleymeyer, House 8-1For the month of March, House 8-1 has selected Riley Blymeyer as their Student of the Month. Riley can be counted on to get her work in on time and understands the value of education. She consistently challenges herself to go the extra mile. At Jefferson, Riley plays basketball and runs track. She also plays year-round basketball on a traveling team at Hempstead. Riley has played violin for about four years and is in Jefferson’s orchestra. |

For the month of March, House 8-1 has selected Riley Blymeyer as their Student of the Month. Riley can be counted on to get her work in on time and understands the value of education. She consistently challenges herself to go the extra mile. At Jefferson, Riley plays basketball and runs track. She also plays year-round basketball on a traveling team at Hempstead. Riley has played violin for about four years and is in Jefferson’s orchestra.

Evan Hanson, House 8-1Evan Hanson has been selected to represent House 8-1 as our March Student of the month. Evan enjoys playing basketball and running track at Jefferson. His character is evident both on and off of the basketball court. Although quiet by nature, Evan always comes though by being a cooperative group member. He always strives to do his best. His work ethic and integrity make him a role model for those around him. Congratulations, Evan! | Samantha Clark, House 8-2 Samantha Clark has been a positive role model for House 8-2 all year long. Samantha is kind to her friends and classmates, respectful to her teachers and has a desire to learn - inside and outside of school. In addition to excelling academically, Sammy is a talented and creative artist, who specializes in theatrical and dramatic make-up. Recently she applied and was accepted to attend the competitive and prestigious Belin Blank Institute for Visual Arts. Congratulations Samantha from the entire team! | Darrell Powell, House 8-2 Darrell Powell has been nominated for Student of the Month. He is a great leader for Jefferson Middle School. Darrell is constantly helping others that are in need of assistance without being asked. He also follows directions very well. Darrell is very organized with his materials! Darrell has shown a lot of improvement socially and academically over the three years he has been at Jefferson Middle School. Darrell has a contagious smile that nice to see every day. |
