MATH

  • We will just finished making our very own math review board games.

  • We will continue to learn about the relationship between fractions and decimals.
  • We will continue to review skills from the whole school year.

READING

  • We have been working with Mrs. Hopper to create a video about WIFI. This video will be shared with the whole district at the beginning of next year as the 1:1 iPad rollout happens.
  • We will continue to do Daily 5 activities where students have the opportunity to read and write independently.

WRITING

  • Students have been working on campaign letters for the Night Zoo. They are hoping to get their animal of choice elected for Night Zoo Mayor.
  • We will be writing on a website call storybird.com and continuing our writing at nightzookeeper.com. They can write on either of these websites at home! :)

Social Studies

  • We will continue our unit on our community...Fishers, IN!! The students have chosen a topic they would like to know more about and will continue to explore Fishers, IN. We have contacted Mayor Fadness and we are hoping to hear back soon!
  • We are continuing to learn about the United States during our Mystery Skype's. We learn so much about map skills and directions during this fun time. This week we Skyped with our new friends in Arizona! Who will it be next week??
