Summer Update - July 29, 2021
Don't Panic - August Begins Next Week
Mrs. Jasso and I are getting ready to welcome back our teachers. Books are coming in almost daily, and the classrooms are being cleaned so they will be nice and shiny for our Bruins come August 18th.
As summer continues, please stay safe. With only 3 weeks until school starts, there are still rising numbers of Covid's Delta Variant. Please check with your doctor about getting the vaccine for you and family members age 12 and over. Remember to wash your hands and wear your masks. We will do all we can to keep all of our students safe, but it takes a community effort.

Back to School News
School begins on Wednesday, August 18th. Families are invited to come to campus anytime between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm on Monday, August 16th and Tuesday, August 17th to drop off supplies and tour their new classroom.
August 18-20 will be minimum days. All students will be dismissed at 12:00 pm. Please make sure to make proper arrangements for those three days. There is no Day Care that week.
Our before school and after school program will begin on August 23rd. Most classes will begin their full day (8:15am - 3:00pm) schedule at this time.
Fall Covid Update
We continue to follow the guidance of the CDC and Los Angeles Department of Pubic Health. There are new telebriefings from the LA Department of Public Health, and as the situation changes, updates on what we are doing as a community to maintain the safety of our students will be sent.
Our Superintendant of Schools, Mr. Paul Escala, has sent a letter to our Catholic school families. I am including it below.
The school wil resume with masks being worn indoors by everyone on campus. Masks will not need to be worn while outdoors.
The school will continue to have daily cleaning and students will be encouraged to frequently wash hands and use hand sanitizer.
We will have distancing in the classroom, using the CDPH recommendation of at least 3 feet between students, as well as considering other types of mitigation.
Air purifiers will be placed in all classrooms for better ventilation. Our classroom doors will remain open while school is in session, as weather permits, to ensure better ventilation.
