A Peek at the past week:

We have been busy learning about community workers. This week we had a chance to visit the cafeteria kitchen and had a chance to see how our school lunches are made. The freezer was cold! Miss Heather provided us with dough and we made a yummy cookie.

In Math we are learning our numbers to twenty . We are counting and learning to recognize amounts in many ways such as on dice and ten frames. In reading we have read lots of books about community workers. We enjoyed reading about Officer Buckle and Gloria. See if your student remembers our stop light poem.

A Big Thank you to all the parents that have been helping with our AR tests!

A look ahead...

We will be moving into lessons about apples and using our senses. We will finish up with a special apple cooking day on September 25th!

Thank you for getting your permission slips in for our trip to Southern Belle Farms on September 30th! This will be an exciting and fun filled trip.

Reminders:

Bring in Box tops off of your General Mills products. They earn $ for our school.
