Wax Museum
Congratulations to our 3rd Grade students who completed their biography unit. As part of this unit, students researched a person who was important to them. Using their reading and writing skills, students wrote the biography of their famous hero. Finally, the students turned into the person that they researched for a living wax museum. They did an amazing job!

Are you monitoring your child's access to social media?
As the parent of two teenage girls and a pre-teen boy, I know just how challenging it can be to constantly check in on their cell phone activities and closely monitor their social media access. I get to hear how mean I am and how much I "don't trust" them. The reality is I don't trust the online world. Below is a sobering article about a popular app called Tik Tok.

Corona Virus Information
As we hear more and more about this virus, many people are wondering what Jeffco is doing to help keep kids healthy. Jeffco has created a website with regards to the district response to the virus. You may choose to bookmark this site as it will be updated as new information becomes available. For now, we are encouraging students to wash their hands and cover their coughs. We are tracking absence rates and have asked parents to be specific when excusing an absence so that we can share information with the state health department if needed.
