3/14/2021 - Testing Preparation
Hello Families! We are doing a great job adjusting to the hybrid schedule! We have two weeks until Spring Break and following break we have two weeks until state testing begins (see dates below). All of this to say that we have four weeks of preparation for the test. Teachers and staff are working hard to provide testing strategies and exposure to content so your scholar can be as ready as possible.
We know this has been a crazy year for so many reasons and testing in this season may seem a bit bold, but our staff is committed to preparing your scholar for success. Please join us in this preparation by making sure your scholar is attending each and every class Monday through Friday, whether hybrid or 100% virtual. Each minute of your scholar's schedule is intentional in setting them up to be as successful on this test as possible
If there is still confusion about schedules please email jrishell@aplusarts.com and/or bwisher@aplusarts.com. As always, you can also call 614-338-0767 and we will help walk you through the changes.
Please continue to remember the following information:
1. School is from 7:30 - 2:30 pm
2. ONLY 8th grade will be in the building Mondays and Tuesdays
3. ONLY 7th grade will be in the building Thursdays and Fridays
4. PLEASE remember to bring your device with you
5. Uniforms - black polo, khaki/black pants, any shoes (no slides). Honor Roll scholars can wear their shirts with their choice pants and shoes.
6. Schedules -
- 100% virtual scholars received their schedules in their emails
- In-Person scholars will receive their schedule when they walk into the building
- All virtual learning uses the schedule we have been using all year
7. Water Bottle Donations - we are in need of any donations from families or businesses
2 things remain the same, even within this transition.
1. We need our scholars attending class (please call or text in order to be excused)
2. We need scholars completing their work.
If you have specific questions about the guidelines we will be following in the building, please click on the letter from our Ohio Regional Director below. As always email or call us with any other questions or concerns.
