Participants must arrive at Ida Lee between 4:30-5:00pm on Oct 31. The roads close early!

PLEASE CONSIDER: Donating candy for the Parade. We hand out thousands of pieces of candy during this event.
Please drop off candy donations to the Blackbox (802) as soon as possible. We add Puffs promotional labels to each piece to encourage parade viewers to attend our show.
OPTION 2 - First Friday: Friday, Nov 1 (5:30-8:30pm)
First Friday is a publicity event we hold for each of our major productions. Cast and Crew members will walk throughout downtown Leesburg, passing out flyers and asking businesses to promote our show. Please see the sign-up link for more details.
SHOWBILL ADS or PUFFS RAFFLE BASKETS
As discussed at the Puffs Parent meeting, each family is required to either sell/buy a $25 (or more) Ad for the showbill or create a “raffle basket” of a $25 (or more) value. Your student will be asked to sign-up for one or the other.
ADS
Hard copies of the Ad form are available from Ms. Ramacci.
All ads must be submitted online by Nov. 1.
RAFFLE BASKET
If you are not interested in/able to submit an ad, you must provide a raffle basket.
There are a few rules:
- No alcoholic beverages allowed. Gift cards for tastings, wine glasses, etc are allowed, but no wine.
- Must have a value of $25 or more
- You will complete an online form describing your basket for approval. We don’t want too many similar baskets. That is form will be coming soon, via our Booster Board!
- You can “theme” it any way you like--It does not have to be Puffs themed, although we’d like some.
- You may join up with another family (or multiple families) to make a spectacular basket. Value must equal the number of families (3 families=$75 value)
- We can help you come up with ideas if you need it. :)
TECH WEEK
- This is our chance to put all of the pieces together, so these are the longest rehearsals of the entire process.
- HPMS students are always dismissed by 9pm, if not earlier. HHS students stay longer – usually around 10:30pm
- Phones are collected and secured – to maintain focus in rehearsals. Students will have breaks to connect with you.
- We encourage students to use downtime (time off of stage) to keep up with their studies and homework.
- Remember: Meals during Tech Week are provided. However, meals before Tech Week and those during actual performance nights are not provided. Remember: Nuts and bananas are not allowed.
COMING SOON: BASE COSTUME and TICKET INFORMATION
- A Base Costume is what each performer is required to provide for his or her role. This varies by character and includes undergarments, socks/tights and shoes. The Base Costume, as well as a Hair and Make-up needs list, will be posted very soon.
- Ticket Information is coming soon!
PERFORMANCES
- There will be 6 High School performances.
- Students must be at the school by the “call” time. (Call = arrival)
- Meals are not provided during show days.
- For the last 20-30 minutes before the show we have a series of focused theatre exercises, which we call “circle”. Although it is a tradition at HHS, it is not required.
- NOVEMBER 23: ALL HHS students (Cast & Crew) must plan to be at HHS from 11am until the end of the evening performance on Nov 23. More details about additional support of the Middle School students for their rehearsals at HHS and their matinee will be coming soon.
- Senior Night is Saturday, Nov 16 (at the end of the 7pm performance)
- Meet & Greet Photo Day (Nov 23 @2pm & @7pm) are the only performances where students can greet their family in costume.
At the end of each performance,
- Select crew students provide a Backstage Tour for patrons who have purchased this special pass.
- students clean up and the entire cast & crew leave together, after being dismissed by the director.
- Dismissal is from the Blackbox.
STRIKE for PUFFS
- Mandatory for all HHS students
- During this event, we take everything apart, organize items that must be returned, etc
- We will need parents to help us with this process. A sign-up (from the Boosters) is coming soon!
- We will begin at 9am and would like to be done by or before 5pm.
