The Gratz Weekly Scoop
January 9, 2017
Thought for the week: "The More we get together, together, together... The more we get together the happier we'll be!" No, I am not losing it, but having a thought-- and my Kindergarten days are coming back to me. This song immediately popped into my head when I thought about adding this to our newsletter. :) This week and the following weeks will use this space to share-- after all more minds are better than one! If you have anything You would like to share with your teammates shoot me an email to add to our newsletters!

CLT Agenda/CLT & RTI Calendar (updated)
CLT when we return will be on January 9th. On this date, AFTER we meet in the Library for our PBS Data Share, Data Reps will meet with teams to review our ELO's for Math and Pacing of these in comparison to addressing skills needed for the upcoming Spring assessment. Please use this time wisely to look at where you are in the process in relation to our Data Teaming for Math. Know that not all Topics will be taken to data teaming. Each grade picked a focus area that will continue for the year or till it is determined the need to move to another hard hitting skill. This was discussion that we had when we had our most recent visit with Madonna Pund.
CLT RTI DATA Teaming will not take place until January 30th- on this date we will review the Winter Benchmarks with the 2 sets of Progress Monitoring Data
The link below will take you to our CLT/RTI Calendar- this should be in your drive as a reference. It has been updated since our snow day on December 19th.

Book Clubs with Mrs. St. Clair
Library Time
Library Time for classes will no longer need teachers staying and working with students on best fit books or assisting them find a read. Mrs. St. Clair asked for this partnership early on to help her get to know your readers better. At this time she has established a good rapport with the students and they are well acclimated to the library expectations.
Please do always feel free to check in with Jackie if you have a student needing help finding a read that fits them best. She loves this partnership with each of you for our students and to build that love of Reading!
