Happy New Year!

Welcome 2021!

It was a dynamic first week back after a well-deserved holiday break. While we welcomed students back to virtual learning and reacclimated to our instructional routines, we also witnessed some very unfortunate events in our country. I am so proud of the way that our school division responded to Wednesday's violence and political unrest by sharing resources to help us navigate classroom discussions on Thursday. The Wilder staff did a phenomenal job of creating a safe zone for their students to share their feelings, fears, and frustrations. I am sure that the US Capitol attack and its lingering effects may continue to weigh heavily on our students. Please know that our school team is here to support any student who would like to continue this dialogue or work with a school counselor.

Families, please continue to be kind to yourself. We are parenting in a very unique climate and I know that it is not easy. You are doing your best and your support is appreciated. I am still very optimistic about the next 355 days that lie ahead and it is my hope that this year is healthy, happy, and prosperous for us all!

Please be in touch if we can support your family in any way!

Kindly,

Mrs. Broudy

Return to In-Person Learning

We continue to prepare to welcome our students back for in-person learning in February. This Return to In-Person Learning Plan provides some guidance to help you navigate this new learning environment. If your student is staying virtual, then he or she will continue to use Microsoft Teams to access instruction.

If you have questions or concerns about this plan, then please plan to attend an upcoming virtual Town Hall Meeting. You can join me for a one hour Q&A session on Thursday, January 14 or Thursday January 28 from 6:30-7:30 PM. The link will be sent prior to the sessions.
