Good Evening Families

It is hard to believe, but tomorrow is June 1st. we are ready to finish the year strong. Keep at it. Teachers and staff are always available to help in any way possible to help. do not hesitate to reach out if you need anything.


The district and each of the schools have been working collaboratively to coordinate an end of year pick-up for families to retrieve any belongings left in school and to return school items currently at home. Please be on the lookout for further communication in the coming days that will outline these plans in greater detail!

Virtual Field Day Kick Off

I hope everyone is enjoying our virtual field day events. We look forward to any pictures you have and would like to share. Stay healthy and active.

Grade 5

I know everyone has been asking about end of the year festivities for our 5th graders. We continue to work with our fabulous CAPT and parents to plan a send off as they move on to the GMS. Please stay tuned in the coming weeks for more information.

Notes from the Nurse

STUDENT MEDICATION NOTICE:

Dear Parents and Guardians,

If your child has a medication(s) at school (Epi pen, inhaler or other medications) please send me an email at stenmone@cantonma.org and let me know your wishes for your child's medication.

Here are your options:

  1. Notify Nurse Stenmon that you would like to pick up medication(s). You will be contacted about pick up at a later date.

  2. Notify Nurse Stenmon that you would like to have your students medication held at JFK until next school year. If the medication will expire prior to 9/2020 I will notify you prior to the start of the school year.

  3. Notify Nurse Stenmon if you would like me to dispose of your student’s medication.

  4. Please notify Nurse Stenmon if you intend to have your child attend the summer school program and the medications will be kept for your student for the summer program. (this is provided the program takes place face to face).

If I do not hear from you, and your students medication is expired, or will expire prior to Sept. 2020, I will dispose of the medications appropriately.
