From the District Administrator's Office
We conducted our School District Annual this past Wednesday evening. Thank you to the residents that attended. In addition to the featured business of presenting and ultimately approving the levy amount for the 2015-16 school year, we also had a very special presentation.
Very few school districts can boast of having two Hall of Fame Coaches. Here at Flambeau, we do. Current school board member, Darrell Gago is a member of the Wisconsin Football Coaches Hall of Fame, and last month, Ted Alberson, was inducted into the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Hall of Fame. In a presentation at the Annual Meeting, Darrell presented to Ted the Hall of Fame plaque that will be displayed here at the school. This was a special moment having these two gentlemen together celebrating the contribution they have made to the students of the School District of Flambeau.
I am also pleased to share with you, that at the regular School Board meeting, also held on Wednesday evening, the Board voted to extend my contract with the District through the 2016-17 school year.
I am very excited to be given the opportunity to be able to continue to work with everyone here in Flambeau. I feel very fortunate I am able to be a part of such a terrific place. I am thrilled we will be able to continue to plan and grow together. I am looking forward to our journey.

We have much to take pride in over these past couple of weeks! Our sports teams have realized much success, and our Choir department put on a wonderful program this week.
Congratulations goes out to our football and cross country teams who will be advancing to the next level. We look forward to seeing you in action! Also, congratulations to our volleyball team, who finished their season strong at regionals. Lastly, I observed our [very impressive] swim team, who won their conference meet!
Mrs. Leonhard hosted this year's first big choir concert. Our Middle School and High School programs did a wonderful job, with rave reviews on their performances. I look forward to seeing them grow over this school year.
Nice job all!

On a very personal note I want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for all the support in not only the last few weeks but the last thirty years. Once again I can only emphasize how proud I am to be from here and how proud I am of our district and our residents.
