Temporary Relocation due to Gaffney Dr. Building Renovations
Our primary services building on Gaffney Drive is now undergoing renovations for a state-of-the-art expansion to ensure the growing number of people with disabilities can reach their fullest potential.
This Expansion Will Help Us to Assist Children in Learning and Growth
- Expand and upgrade classrooms, play areas and physical therapy spaces to serve more children in a positive and engaging environment.
- Build two sensory stimulation Snoezelen rooms with modern technology to help children with Autism.
- Provide dedicated speech therapy rooms with a quiet, distraction free environment
- Create a separate nursing exam area for more privacy
Doesn't that sound AMAZING! We hope to reenter our new and improved facility next fall!
The goal of the plan is to guide the delivery of high-quality educational services as safely as possible whether that service delivery is in-person, through a remote learning platform or a blended combination of remote and in-person services.
The goal of this plan is to provide on-going instruction using the Units of Study from the Creative Curriculum, aligning with NYS Pre-K Learning Standards, and following all IEP's to the best extend possible during remote learning periods.

ABOUT OUR PROGRAM
The Bright Beginnings Early Learning Center is licensed under the NYS Office of Children and Family Services to provide quality childcare for children between the ages of 18 months and 5 years of age. We offer full and half day care slots as well as 2, 3 & 5 day options. The Bright Beginnings program promotes social interaction, developmentally appropriate activities and practices and age appropriate self-help abilities. All of this is accomplished in a nurturing environment and in partnership with the child’s family.
EARLY INTERVENTION PROGRAM
The Early intervention program, which falls under the auspices of the Department of Health, is designed to empower parents to seek services for their young child who may be experiencing a delay in one or more developmental domains (Cognitive, Communication, Physical, Social-Emotional, and Adaptive Behavior). The Early Intervention program serves eligible children from birth through three years of age in natural environments. Evaluations are performed at a variety of times and locations to fit the needs of the parents.
The Bright Beginnings Early Learning Center operates integrated preschool classrooms, under the jurisdiction of the New York State Education Department, for both typically developing children and students with disabilities between the ages of 2 years 9 months and 5. The Bright Beginnings program promotes social interaction, pre-kindergarten readiness skills and age appropriate self-help abilities. All of this is accomplished in a nurturing environment and in partnership with the child’s family. Also, we are offering Universal Pre-k for 3 year olds and 4 year olds through the Watertown School District.
