Notes from Dr. Brown
Students and Families,
This Wednesday, November 16 is Education Support Professionals Day. Please help us recognize our Noble staff who, often times behind the scenes, support our students and school every day. Thank you to our front office staff, paraeducators, custodians and bus drivers!
Tell us about how one of our ESPs has made a difference in your child's education!
Please remember, all actions outlined on the academic contracts must be complete by this Friday, November 18.
Our boys basketball and girls soccer have their first home games this week. We hope you'll continue to come out and support our teams. Any students who stay afterschool for home games must have their ride here by 5:30pm.

Parent Book Discussion
Are you having trouble approaching tough topics (or any topics, for that matter) with your middle schooler? If you're curious about how to improve communication with your child and could use camaraderie from folks in similar waters, we'd love for you to join us!
This year, all parents and guardians of Noble students are invited to participate in a monthly book discussion club about "Fourteen Talks by Age Fourteen." This book provides a structure for parents and guardians to have conversations with their middle schooler about important and often difficult topics. We'll all read designated chapters before each meeting and hopefully gather some great additions to our respective parenting toolboxes as we discuss what we've read.
You are not required to attend every meeting—come when you can and as you are! This is an adults-only group, though, so we respectfully request students not attend.
This parenting stuff is a tough gig, folks—let's not do it alone!

Fun Fact: Teaching wasn't Mrs. Keegan's first career choice. She didn't start teaching until my late 20's. "There are definitely many challenges that come with teaching, but I enjoy coming to work (most days) and can't imagine doing anything else"
What she loves about her job: "I love getting to know my students, watching them build their confidence in math, and grow throughout the year. I also enjoy joking around with my students. It's important that students enjoy my class and have fun learning. It's very rewarding to run into former students and hear what they've accomplished since 7th grade"
