Webinar Weekdays

Throughout the summer, we will be offering webinars over a variety of technology topics. The day of the webinar, you may check here for a link to the live webinar. Additionally, those who have registered in Eduphoria will receive an email with the link. Below are the scheduled webinars for the summer:

  • Twitter-Dee and Twitter-Dum - The basics of Twitter - getting started, learning the lingo, following others - June 15 @ 10:00 a.m.
  • Tweet This! - Now that you are on Twitter explore and develop a PLN through this social media phenomenon - June 15 @2:00 p.m.
  • SAMR - What is it? - Learn about this technology integration model and challenge your self to advance through the levels - June 24 @ 2:00 p.m.
  • Formative Assessment Tools - July 1 @ 10:00 a.m.
  • SMART Notebook 15 - see what new features have been added with the latest update - July 22 @ 2:00 p.m.

Face-to-Face Sessions

The following sessions will be Face-to-Face sessions. If fewer than 7 teachers are registered, the classes will be cancelled.

  • MaKey, MaKey in the Classroom - BYOC (Bring your own Child) - for this hands-on session, we invite you to bring your school age children to learn along side you. Please note you do not have to have a child to attend. We will explore how to use Makey Makey kits (an invention kit that uses the computer to interact with everyday objects) in the classroom for problem solving and learning. June 22 1:30-3:30 @ the Government Center Third Floor Training Room
  • Digital Storytelling - Explore various tools, programs, and apps that you and your students can use to showcase their learning and tell a story. June 25 10:00-12:00 @ the Government Center Third Floor Training Room
