FROM PRINCIPAL

Dear Bourchier Community,

For this week's newsletter item, I wanted to show some love for our amazing office staff! They are all Legends who go above and beyond every day to ensure our school runs smoothly and are a key part of making it a truly wonderful place.

Legend number one is Donna Osborn, our Business Manager. While you might not see in her in the reception area too often Donna Osborn, does a mountain of work behind the scenes keeping our school running. She deals with everything from policies, and procedures, compliance with legislative requirements and dealing with all the financial side of school operations. Donna keeps our school running like a well-oiled machine, and I honestly don’t know what we do without her!

Jodie Van Popering has been at the school for a year and is a true multitasker. She handles a variety of tasks in our office and also oversees Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and First Aid. Jodie works every day to create a safer, more secure learning environment for our students and staff. Jodie is so much of a legend that she is the inspiration for this week's newsletter post!

Legend number three is Lorelle Kellock, another invaluable member of our office staff, who manages multiple responsibilities, including enrolments and Compass, our digital learning platform. Lorelle's exceptional organisational skills make the enrolment process a breeze, and she ensures effective communication and engagement within our school community.

Denise Whyte (Legend 4), is our office team's Director of motivation, and the enthusiasm and fun she brings to the team rubs off on everyone! Denise is heavily involved in all things community-related and ensures our newsletter is informative, engaging, and captures the essence of our school's vibrant activities, achievements, and events.

The last Legend I will mention in today's post is Sharon Harris, who is a jack of all trades and a true Multitasking champion! After previously working in our library and in classrooms helping students. Sharon is now an invaluable member of the office team. She handles phone calls, emails, website enquiries among a huge number of other tasks, Sharon’s productivity inspires me to be better!

Our office staff is truly amazing, and what makes them stand out is that they are able to get through the variety of tasks that get thrown at them on a daily basis and they do it all in a way that creates an awesome vibe. Shout out to the Office Team!

As always, if you want to reach out for anything at all, our doors are always open!
