OUR CHILDCARE PROGRAMS ARE EXPANDING - SUMMER PROGRAMS AND 3/4 PRESCHOOL

CONCORD PLANS THE THIRD CAHC COMMUNITY ADVISORY COMMITTEE (CAC) MEETING
The Community Advisory Committee would like to thank all of our parents for taking the time to complete the School Wellness Program Survey. We greatly appreciate the insight. It has been invaluable.
We are currently in the process of using the data to complete the Needs Assessment. When we have compiled all of the data, we will be sure to share the report with the community.
The CAC will have its fifth meeting on Tuesday, May 23rd in the high school library from 3:00-4:00. All of our parents are invited to attend if they would like to be part of the process of determining whether or not we should open a School Wellness Program, and if we, do what service should we provide. The next step in the process will be to write the service deliverable plan. If the data supports pursuing the SWP, the service plan will explain what services will be offered. However, there are some services that are not allowable by law. For example, family planning CANNOT be discussed in the health center.
As we continue to move forward in the process, we will keep our families updated along the way.
TALKING IS TEACHING
ATTENDANCE MATTERS
Because attendance is so important, please send your child to school every day unless he or she has a contagious illness or is running a fever.

TAX CREDIT
Most Americans already received their stimulus payments and the 2021 Child Tax Credit, but for eligible people who don’t normally file tax returns, it’s not too late to claim these benefits from the #IRS. http://ow.ly/V37Z50NfCQv, http://ow.ly/apPL50NfCNR
Millions of families in the U.S. received the 2021 Child Tax Credit and stimulus payments from the #IRS. If your family doesn’t normally file a tax return, it’s not too late to claim these benefits. http://ow.ly/V37Z50NfCQv, http://ow.ly/apPL50NfCNR
It’s not too late: An #IRS reminder that families who typically don’t file taxes may still qualify for the 2021 Child Tax Credit and the Recovery Rebate Credit. http://ow.ly/V37Z50NfCQv, http://ow.ly/apPL50NfCNR
