Cultural Activities and entertainment

While culture/religion is basically the same in America, the entertainment is a tad different. In the Dominican Republic they like to dance and "drink like a local" which means drink alcohol, they like to go to the carnival too. Sports wise they mostly fish, mountain bike, and golf. They also go whale watching and wind surfing, as seen in the picture.

Food

In the Dominican Republic, the most common foods are sancocho's, a meaty and fishy soup, kipes, brown and crispy coded, deep fried bulgur roll, and flan(in picture), a caramel like dessert, flan is so common they even have an ice cream flavor for it.

Tourist attractions

Puerto Plata(in picture), a nice beach just off the coast of the Dominican Republic.
