Families,
On Friday, May 21st from 1-2, we will have our 2nd Technology and School Items return day! Please plan to visit Fox Hill during the designated time for the End of Year drop off. (If your child’s home school is not Fox Hill, please drop off your technology to your child’s home school on May 21st.)
Your student will need to return:
-Chromebook and charger
-Mifi (if applicable - select students received this from the school social worker)
-School items (possibly textbooks/chapter books - per your virtual teacher's directions)
Your student will receive:
-Ready for the next grade level summer learning packet
When dropping off your items, STAY IN YOUR CAR :) Please enter using the Hoover side of the Fox Hill entrance so that your driver's side is closest to the front curb of Fox Hill Elementary. Teachers will be curbside to collect your items. Continue to follow the traffic pattern as you move through the Fox Hill lane. Please have all items in your car ready to release to teachers for a quick drop off.
See you on Friday!
Much LOVE to our Retirees - Thank you for your time in Washington Township and at Fox Hill!

Residency Verification for Anticipated 1st - 9th Grade Families
The Metropolitan School District of Washington Township requires the parent or legal guardian of each student to provide valid residency verification within the boundaries of the MSD of Washington Township at the time of enrollment and when a child is returning to an MSDWT school for the upcoming school year and entering 1st through 9th grade.
If you have a child returning to a MSDWT school for the 2021-2022 school year who is entering 1st through 9th grade, you are required to provide residency verification that is current and valid for the upcoming school year.
There are two ways to provide the appropriate documentation to your child’s current school by the deadline:
Option #1
- Visit the district website https://www.msdwt.k12.in.us/registration/ and upload the appropriate documentation (see chart below)
- Email the appropriate documentation to the contact person listed for your child's current school
Option #2
- Visit your child’s current school in-person to provide the appropriate documentation to the front office
Documentation was due to your child’s current school by Friday April 16, 2021. If you have not provided it, please complete the residency verification as soon as possible.
Proof of residency must be in the name of the parent/legal guardian
(provide one document from each section A and B)
Section A
Current mortgage payment book/statement
Homeowner’s insurance statement
Current property tax statement
Warranty deed
Current and valid lease
Section B
Current utility bill
Current paycheck stub with name and address
Government document
Current bank statement
Current bill
Valid Indiana driver’s license or state identification with current address
Indiana Code:
The legal settlement of the student is in the attendance area of the school corporation where the student's parents reside. IC 20-26-11-2
The residence of a child is determined by the residence of his or her parent(s) or legal guardian(s). This place of residence must be within the boundaries of the MSD of Washington Township for children to attend Washington Township Schools.
If you are residing with a Washington Township resident, all parties must complete a Residency Verification Affidavit Form. This form is available through the school social worker. The resident must provide one document from each section A and B. Additionally, the parent(s) or guardian(s) will need to provide two documents from section B with the current Washington Township address.
*These residency procedures do not apply to homeless families and their children, in accordance with the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act.
Thank you for your cooperation in advance.
