GUN CONTROL IS A HUGE ARGUMENT FOR TODAY. SHOULD PEOPLE BE ABLE TO KEEP GUNS WITH THEM WHEN EVER THEY WANT?
BABY PROOFING THE GUN:
If you keep a gun in your house and you have a child you should gun-proof your gun to keep your child from harm. there are two ways to proof your gun First, keep guns unloaded and locked in a storage device, such as a gun safe, that no one can access but the gun owner. Second, keep all ammunition in a separate, locked container that no one can access but the gun owner.
PUTTING GUNS IN THE RIGHT PEOPLE HANDS CAN SAVE LIVES:
The experience of armed resistance shows the value of NRA Executive Vice President Wayne La Pierre's call for armed security guards in every school. It was perhaps not a coincidence that in calling for school guards, La Pierre was endorsing an idea that has a higher level of public support, in post-Newtown polls, than any other proposed solution to school violence.
PROFESSIONAL SPORTS PLAYER ARE TARGETED MORE OFTEN:
"Most guys when they first come into the league is when they first start to realize they need protection," Jones says. "Because money brings a lot of positive things. But most of the time, it brings more negative things. People don't like you for what you have, for who you are. They don't like you for what you represent. And people will go to any length to take what you have or harm you in some way just because they don't have what you have. If you don't have a firearm to protect you from situations and God forbid something happens to you, you wish you would have a firearm."
