Registration 2023-2024
If your student cannot attend registration on any of these days, they can check in with the attendance office beginning at 9 am on the first day of school.
Registration is the first step to starting the new school year. Please make sure that you have completed your online registration via Parent VUE in Synergy. Only students who have completed this process will be eligible to proceed through the registration process. If you need assistance before your assigned registration day, please call (858)748-0245.
Mandatory Forms - Please remember to print, sign, and bring the required forms (Student Health Information Form - 9th grade only, Off-Roll Permission Form (grades 9-12), updated health information, immunization records, medication information, etc.).
ID Pictures - During your assigned registration date, students will have their ID pictures taken. Please come with your best smile! All students from 9th-12th grades are required to have their student ID on their person at all times during school hours and events. Since the student ID is an important identification document, we ask that students look their best for their pictures and that pictures represent the student's authentic self.
Student Schedules - Students will receive a list of their courses for Trimester 1 during registration so that they can pick up textbooks. Their full schedule with periods/room numbers will be available on StudentVue on Tuesday, August 15.
Textbooks and Chromebooks - Please be prepared to collect your textbooks for Trimester 1 at registration. Textbooks are essential to our instructional program. Not returning a textbook from the previous year(s) has an impact on students during the current instructional year. Students who have yet to pay textbook fines should contact the library immediately. Outstanding textbook fines may impact your ability to register during your assigned date. You will also receive a list of your classes for Trimester 1.
Only students new to PUSD will receive Chromebooks during registration.
If you are interested in joining the Poway High PTSA or supporting the Poway High School Foundation, you can visit their tables during registration.
Student Parking Permits will also be issued during registration.
Click here to review and complete the parking permit form before registration.
A current driver’s license and vehicle registration must be provided at the time of issuance.
- Students must attend Start Smart prior to obtaining a parking permit. Click here to register for Start Smart.

Senior Portraits - Class of 2024
Class of 2024,
It is time to schedule senior portraits. All yearbook portraits must be taken by Keane Studios. Please schedule a sitting this summer. You should've received an email from Keane with a link to an account already set up for your senior. If at registration you opted out of sharing information with 3rd party partners, you will need to contact Keane directly to set up an account: https://www.keaneseniors.com/book-session
