We have started Study Island and students are adjusting well. If you have any questions or concerns about the program please contact me via email. I will be sending home an explanation of the program next week. Please sign the paper and have your child keep it in their science binder. THANKS!

7th grade math students are studying directly proportional relationships. We had a quiz on Friday and these will be graded and posted this weekend.
Students should plan on a Partner Test on Friday next week (September 26). Students will work with a partner on this joint assessment.
Dance - Mrs. Brewington
7th Rotation: We will begin a fitness unit, yoga, zumba, p90x, and pilates are all classes we will participate in. On September 29th, will have a test on Muscles and Bones.
7th dance focus: We learned about Tinkling and created small pieces of choreography using the steps we learned. Please complete a google form about Tinikling for a grade. There will be a dance vocabulary quiz September 26th. Please encourage your child to check for class updates daily on google classroom.
Social Studies - Mrs. Babb

Mrs. Boatwright's seventh grade Social Studies class will continue their study of the Scientific Revolution. They are working on a project - Scientific Revolution Baseball Cards. This project is due Thursday, September 25
Mrs. Boatwright's seventh grade English Language Arts class will be working on stem word list 4. The test on this list is Friday, September 26. They have been reading "Three Skeleton Key." There will be a test on this story on Wednesday, September 25. They will also be continuing their work on narrative writing.
