Navigating the River
#RMSbetterthanEVER
Welcome Back to the River!
I am delighted to welcome everyone to a new school year here at RMS! For all of our new families, this weekly newsletter is the place to find all the information that you will need to support your child as the year progresses. We also encourage you to check out our page on Facebook. We regularly post updates and events there along with pictures so that you may enjoy learning more about the experiences your child enjoys each day at school.
To kick off a new, exciting school year, we hope you and your child will visit for our RMS Meet and Greet on Monday, August 1st. Assigned times for visiting are based on your child's last name and can be found below along with all the information you need regarding purchases to begin your child's school year. Time slots are assigned so that we have a manageable flow of traffic in our parking lots and in our building so that everyone may have a great experience. We kindly ask that you adhere to the assigned times.
Our Meet and Greet is an opportunity for our teachers and staff to connect with our families, so please join us to see our campus and say hello to all your child's teachers. Our goal for Meet and Greet is that your child is comfortable coming to school on the first day, prepared with the information they need to have a wonderful day. We want all our students to be excited to walk into RMS on August 4th!
Read below for all the details!
Warmly,
Pam Bibik

Back to School Meet and Greet Information
The goal for our Back to School Meet and Greet is that your child is comfortable coming to school on the first day knowing who their teachers are and where their classrooms are located. Parents are welcome!
With this in mind, we will not be selling items or distributing paperwork during our Open House this year. Instead, our focus will be on building a connection with students and families by greeting one another and connecting names and faces. Opportunities for lengthier conferences will be made available on other dates, as needed.
