Service dogs are usually trained to work in one specific field such as seeing eye dogs, search and rescue teams, theory, military training, etc...

There are countless stories of how the dog saved someones life. The seeing eye dog stooped the child from running out on the street, the service dog signaled help before the man had a heart attract, the dog found the lost victim in the woods. If it weren't for the love of man's four lagged friends countless life's would be lost and many more permittivity hospitalized.
