Life at Ambleside
I am, I can, I ought, I will
From the Desk of Mrs. Flora
I hope this newsletter finds each of you well. This week while waiting at an appointment my daughter, Audrey (2nd grade) took out her novel "Black Beauty" and began reading. This for many of us is a normal experience as Ambleside prioritizes worthy books and emphasizes the importance of creating reading as a habit. This small simple act led to a wonderful conversation with a family about Ambleside. They were impressed two fold by a child choosing to read over screens and the type of novel a second grader was immersed in. I am guilty many times of not seeing this as a "big deal" as it is so common place with Ambleside students , in that moment discussing all Ambleside offers I was overcome with gratitude for Ambleside and the quality education my child is so fortunate to receive. I hope each of you feel the same gratitude and joy for our sweet school.
The spring term is off to a great and speedy start. Please make sure to turn in your letter of intent for the 2020-2021 school year before March 1st.
