During the Week of January 26-February 1, 2019 we celebrated National School Choice Week at Henry Ford Elementary Library.

School Choice means giving parents and students access to the best K-12 education. We strongly believe that Henry Ford Elementary offers that plus much more.

Dimension 1: The school library program features a learning environment that cultivates a sense of community and respect among all students and staff.

2018-2019 Blind Date with a Book @ Henry Ford Elementary

Blind Date with a book was spectacular students were saying that it felt "like Christmas." Our students were deciding to take on a "date" a new book to their home or if they choose not to go take it. Blind Date with a book is always so much fun!

Schoolastic Book Fair

Schoolastic Book Fair

Students and parents were able to purchase books at the Scholastic Book Fair. Thank you parents, students, and staff for supporting our library. With the earnings from this book fair we are able to purchase more books.

FRED (Fathers Read Every Day)

Fathers are invited to come during their library time to read with their children.

Children are extremely happy to see their "fathers" or father role model come by and hear them read.

Dr. Seuss "Read Across America"

Read Across America

During the Week of February 25 - March 1, 2019 we celebrated Read Across America with a variety of Dr. Seuss Activities. Students were ecstatic to participate with the celebration and participated daily in an array of different activities.

PSJA High School Library Collaborates with Elementary Library

Two P.S.J.A. Libraries collaborate to provide an awesome experience for all of our Henry Ford Elementary Students. P.S.J.A. Collegiate High School students were able to visit our school and help us celebrate Read Across America Week. Thank you for providing a read aloud to ALL of our elementary students, plus for helping us with our crafts in the library.

January & February Literacy Nights

Students and parents come together every first Wednesday of the month to read and test on their books. Library is open after-school from 3:25-4:45 p.m.
