IMPORTANT FINAL CONFERENCE INFORMATION
All delegates registered on time within MyPL have been sent a Conference Registration Information email. It is repeated in the text below:
- Car Pooling: All delegates are advised to car pool and to enter the venue via Wine Country Drive. Delegates should park on our south lawn (out the front of the hotel). When these parking spaces are exhausted, Crowne Concierge will direct cars onto the Activity lawn located at the back of the Conference Centre.
To assist with the smooth running of the day, please ensure you are familiar with the agenda and seating plans linked below.
MyPL rolls will be marked at your allocated seating areas by Principals (Simone for GPS team). These rolls will need to be collected by Principals at 7:50am from the Main Registration Table in the Foyer.
Signage: Each table and Row will have signage that clearly indicates which school/schools have been allocated seating there.
Seating Time:Please also ensure that you are inside the main conference venue (downstairs) at Crowne Plaza HUNTER VALLEY - Lovedale between 8:00-8:30am.
Seating Plan: Please note that you cannot adjust, modify nor add to the seating plans or organisation as outlined below.

Professor Dylan Wiliam
Dylan Wiliam is Emeritus Professor of Educational Assessment at University College London.
In a varied career, he has taught in urban public schools, directed a large-scale testing program, served a number of roles in university administration, authored numerous books, and pursued a research program focused on supporting teachers to develop their use of assessment in support of learning.
As one of the United Kingdom's leading experts on assessment, Dylan has an extensive history of research and consultation in this area. His recent work has focused on the use of assessment to support learning, which is sometimes called formative assessment. He was the co-author, with Paul Black, of a major review of the research evidence on formative assessment, and he has worked with many groups of teachers across the globe on developing formative assessment practices. Dylan is also an experienced international presenter who specialises in introducing educators to the principles and practice of assessment for learning.
