Dear Parents / Carers,
What a joy this week has been! It has been lovely to have a range of sports going on around school with PE lessons outside as well as visiting coaches for Cricket in Year 6 (Neptune) and Beanbag rounders in Mars.
We have also restarted some bubble specific after school clubs: Children in Jupiter enjoyed Gardening Club after school on Wednesday whilst Neptune had multisports and Uranus did Forest School Club. On Thursday Saturn had multisports after school.
Slowly things are starting to get back to normal and we are planning what we can for the end of the school year but like everyone else are waiting to hear the update from the government.
Plans are well underway for the new school year too and I will share these with you once I am in a position to do so. Our school continues to grow and thrive and a visit this week from our School Improvement Adviser was very positive in terms of the improvements we continue to make and the progress of our pupils, in particular the teaching of reading.
Have a lovely weekend,
Mrs Karen Williams
