Part of the September PA Day, the January Staff Meeting and the April PA day will be dedicated to looking at baselines and discussing students' writing.
Feedback from staff was that you enjoying the program's checklists, but wish that the rubrics were more concise.
A suggestion was made that staff pre-sort the baselines ahead of our meetings so that you can spend the time discussing areas of focus for each guided group.
Date for First Staff Meeting
How about Monday September 16th 3:40 - 4:55 p.m?
Date for Open House and Plan
We discussed each teacher highlighting the different methods of communication we use so that parents will feel more comfortable.
Remind Council to do a pre-order. Folks at the BBQ need to know that they should not serve folks until they have visited the classrooms.
Pamela will inquire with Communications to ensure that Twitterr and Communciate and School Messenger would be okay.
Monthly Calendar
Put a note at the bottom saying to check the school website as events may be added on.
