Alpine Biomes are found in mountain regions like the himalayas,rocky mountains and lots of others.Why is it found there?well alpine Biomes are cold so they are usually at 3.048km or more.

Description

The Alpine Biome are actually cold,windy and snowy.When you usually hear those words your thinking of mountains,but its actually winter to people in England.In Latin the word high mountain is alpes therefore that's where the word alpine came from.It is also said that the Alpine Biome covers 16% of the earth.

How plants adapt to the enviroment

A common feature of the alpines is to have deep long roots or a deep main root This feature helps the plants be stable in an area where soil is constantly on the move. Gravity is constantly pulling soil down from the sides and tops of mountains.

Well you might be asking how does a animal live in the cold?Well here's a easy explanation :animals like the snow leopard has the ability to live in the cold because snow leopards have a well-developed chest that helps them draw oxygen from the thin air of the high mountains.this is one way of how a animal lives.
