October 2017 - HJH: Excellence in Education
A Word From Whittle
Wow! October already? This week marks the completion of the first 6 weeks of the school year. Friday, October 6th, is the first grade reporting day for UIL eligibility. Progress reports will come home the following week.
Remember that you can check your student's grade any time through our Skyward data management system. You can even set it up to send you a weekly progress report or report when a grade is below a certain level.
Students at this age push adults away, but that doesn't mean they don't need our supervision and monitoring of their progress and behavior. Truth be told, they actually want it...even if they never let us know.
With Regards,
Amy Whittle
Principal of HJH
