HIST 2111: Keys to Success!
Advising UWG Students: Success is as Easy as 1-2-3!
Welcome to HIST 2111!
Please email or visit me during online office hours with any questions you might have throughout the term!
Follow These Guidelines: Steps to Success!
2. Check your email regularly.
3. Participate in class discussions per your instructor's guidelines.
4. Print the syllabus on Day 1!
5. Complete your assignments on time and submit them. Don't procrastinate--you might have technical issues or you might forget.
6. Maintenance is every other Friday night. Plan to submit your work accordingly, so that you don't get a surprise when you can't access the course.
7. Take advantage of all resources offered to you: online tutoring, additional content provided by your instructor, etc.
8. If you have a problem (personal, academic, anything that might prevent you from submitting work or participating fully in your course) contact your instructor as soon as you see that there might be a problem. It is easier to prevent problems by letting your instructor know ahead of time rather than waiting til after-the-fact and trying to repair damage.
