The Great Barrier reef
The Great Barrier Reef is a mosaic of 2,900 individual reefs off the coast of Queensland in northeast Australia. The sprawling reef can be seen from space and is not only the world's largest coral reef system but also the largest structure on Earth made by living organisms.

Accommodations
You would have to stay in Australia, Greenland, or one of the islands and take a boat to get to the Barrier Reef
Pass Port Requirements
You have to have a passport, but there are no special requirements that you have to have on the passport
Health Issues
The only health issues you would have if you went to the Great Barrier Reef would be if you get stung by one of the animals in the water. Ex: stingrays, jellyfish, sea urchines
Restrictions on visting the reef
You must not take or possess protected fish species in the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park unless you have a Marine Parks Permit
Not many restrictions now but....
World Heritage sites such as the Great Barrier Reef or Kathmandu, in Nepal, could be taken off the tourism map by 2020 due to the effects of climate change and too many visitors
