Field Trips
More information on field trips to come, but here are the dates we have scheduled!!! These may change due to weather and unforeseen circumstances.
- Monday, March 20, 2023 - JAWC Tales as Tall as the Sky
- Friday, May 5, 2023 - Tweetsie for Letterland Day
Attendance
School starts at 7:50 each day. Students will be marked PRESENT or ABSENT. If your child is not in school, you will need to send in absence notes the next day and it will be coded as excused or unexcused. Written notes are required and can come directly from the parent/guardian or a medical office. Also note that ClassDojo messages are great for communicating an absence, but they do NOT serve as legal documentation of absences. Please send a written note. Thanks in advance for your help!
Daily Reminders
*Bring a water bottle daily. We have bottle fillers available for student use.
*Don't forget to pack a healthy snack for snack time! (If you would like to send extra snacks for our class, we would greatly appreciate it!)
*It is either hot or cold in our classroom. Feel free to send a light jacket for your child to leave at their seat for times that they may get cold.
*Remember to read together each night and complete Letterland homework!
*Return Green Folder and Little Book each day.
*If you have not returned the beginning of the yellow field trip information sheet, please do so asap.
*Transportation Changes: Please make sure that I know how your child will go home each day. If you have transportation changes, please call the office and message me on Class DOJO.
Classroom Wish List
We are in need of small items for our classroom prize box and small individual wrapped candies (peanut free).
We encourage students to eat a healthy snack each afternoon. You can help by sending in healthy individually wrapped snacks for our snack basket.
Thank you SO much for supporting our classroom! We couldn't do it without you!
