This past week Ms. Miriam Oddie hosted a virtual strings concert with our students. Each student played a selected piece that they had practiced! Students were wonderful! It is such a joy to see our kids accessing music at school! Thank you Monterey County Strings and Ms. Oddie!
Rather than push more content and new initiatives, this year teachers and administrators should consider scaling back. December 6, 2021 Brains can only take so much. The exact line that marks the boundary between "enough to manage" and "too much" is defined by individual experiences and personalities, but I think it's safe to say that the last two years have been universally Too.
