MSMS Book, iPad Drop-Off set for next week -- How To
Family Partners, thank you again for your support of our remote learning in the fourth quarter. We couldn’t have made remote learning work without your support! Now we have one more request of you to close out the year: Please help us collect the books, instruments, and iPads we’ve sent home and pick up your child’s personal items that were still at school.
***Please see the email sent via School Messenger from Mr. McMartin on May 13th. We have designed a structured drive- through schedule for students to drop off items still checked out and to pick up personal items and medications left at the school. You will find your students name with a designated time slot to come.***
For safety reasons, throughout this process, no parent/guardian will be allowed out of their vehicle. All deliveries and pick-ups will be made through the vehicle window using Covid-19 safe protocols.
Our drive-through student materials drop-off and personal possessions pick-up will be held May 19 (8th), 20 (7th), and 21 (6th), the specific times for each student are outlined in the email sent via School Messenger from Mr. McMartin on May 13th.
Station One, Personal Item Pick-up (see map below) -- Pick-up of personal items that were left in a locker or other location at the school.
Station Two, South Door of Commons (see map below) – Drop off Library books, Textbooks, and iPads. *ONLY NON-RETURNING STUDENTS WILL TURN IN THEIR iPad CHARGERS*
Station Three, East Door of Manitou Middle (see map below) – Drop off musical instruments that have been borrowed from the school if you have one.
For drop-off, on your grade-level specific day, families will drive up to the drop-off check-in station at Manitou Springs Middle School and will be guided about how to drop off items through the car window, for COVID-19 safety. Families will drive all the way around the middle school until they have gone through all three stations.
Note: Those families who have been notified that they still have student medications at the school can pick them up when they arrive at the check in station as they enter the MSMS parking lot to drop off their items.
Please note: Families with multiple students in D14 schools are welcome to drop off/pick up items for all of their students in the same trip.
The specific drop off schedules for each grade level are in a separate document that is also attached to this communication.
