THANK YOU for supporting our JOG-A-THON!

With the generous donations of our Eastin community, we raised just over $80,000! This goes to supporting enrichment programs for our Eastin students including field trips, assemblies, end of year activities and so much more. Our teachers and PTC worked tirelessly together to put on a great event for our school. Our student's earned lots of individual prizes, and our entire school get's to throw pie at our principal with her PURPLE hair!

Minimum Day Tomorrow

Don't forget we have another minimum day tomorrow, Friday, October 18th. Please make sure you pick your child up at 12:05.

District African American Advisory (D3A) Community Meeting

Wednesday, October 30th @ 6:00 PM

The District African American Advisory (D3A) would like to invite you to our school community meeting. The goal of these meetings is to become more informed of and involved in the support and celebration of our African American students. Please join our first meeting at Eastin Elementary on October 30th at 6:00pm. We will meet in the Media Center. This month, we take a look at the attendance and discipline data and learn more about the School Site Council.

5th Annual Trunk-or-Treat

Friday, Oct. 25th, 6:30-7:30pm

Please join us for Eastin’s 5th Annual Trunk-or-Treat on Friday, October 25th from 6:30–7:30 PM in the Eastin parking lot. Dress up in costume and come join us for a fun and safe way for our children to trick or treat.

YOU can participate in one of two ways…

Decorate Your Car

  • Reserve a space.

  • Arrive to Eastin’s parking lot by 5:30 P.M to start decorating your car.

  • Bring goodies to hand out. We will provide goodies to hand out as well.

  • Please respond by Fri. Oct 18 if you would like to decorate your car

Donate Goodies

  • Donate bags of factory sealed individually wrapped candy, fruit snacks, raisins, pretzels, etc.

  • Donate pencils, glow sticks, stickers, tattoos, and other fun small items to hand out.

  • Please no homemade or unsealed food. Please try and avoid peanut products due to allergies.

*To make this event successful, we really need your donations of treats to make this a fun event for our kids.

Please drop off candy/treats to the front office or your child’s classroom by Thurs, Oct. 24.
