Student Parking Lot and Pick-up/Drop-off
It is imperative that we follow the traffic patterns and utilize the front circle drive for all student drop-off and pick-up.
Please do not drop off or pick up your students in the parking lot. This creates an unsafe environment.
Thank you for your committment to our Tigers' safety!
Boys Basketball Recap
Your Varsity team came up short in the Area round of the playoffs last night to end our season with a 17-5 record and a District and Bi-District Championship. We want to thank everyone who came out last night and all season to support. This season we all faced obstacles which we hope we never have to face again, and the coaches want to thank the players and all of you for helping us get through.
Congratulations, Seniors!

Softball Leads off with a Win!
The Lady Tigers opened up their season and district play last night as they hosted Austin High School. Both the JV and Varsity came away with big wins to start 1-0 in district. The Jv team won by a final score of 15-0. Earning the win in the circle was Rachel R. and adding a big hit to end the game was Larkin M.
In the varsity game, Rachel Y. pitched a shutout allowing only 1 hit and fanning 12 girls. The lady Tigers collected 9 hits offensively. Leading the charge was Maddie M. who went 3-4 with a double and 4 RBI's. Ashley R. added an RBI of her own in the first inning to score Ariel K. Emily C. also had an RBI single in the sixth to help secure the 9-0 victory. Kennedy C. and Ariel K. added two hits a piece while Layrn G. added a single to total the 9 hits for the lady Tigers.
There is a group of students reading Legacy vs. Likes by Mike Smith with Jostens Renaissance.
From the book jacket:
Legacy vs. Likes asks tough questions. If you answer honestly, it will help you determine the kind of legacy you want to leave. So you can stop wishing and talking. And start doing.
These students are engaging in great discussion and will follow up the book study by reaching out to other Tigers who want to participate in the next book study.
Stay tuned!

Travis HS GT Spring Showcase
Travis High School is hosting our first GT Showcase this Spring! Students selected from each grade level will also have the opportunity to represent THS at the District GT Showcase tentatively planned for the week of April 19th.
Who: All GT Students
What: THS GT SHOWCASE
When: Now - March 29th
How: Students will complete or extend projects and submit them by Monday, March 29th at 11:59 p.m.
Steps for you to take:
Think: What would you like to learn more about? How can you explore this idea? What projects have you been working on this year that you could extend?
Complete: Each student must fill out the THS GT Showcase Student Response form by Monday, February 8 at 3 p.m.
Fill | THS GT Showcase Student Response
Consider: You may choose to extend your research and submit projects which fulfill other requirements (Science fair, GSA Capstone Projects, HOSA projects, or projects submitted for assignments this school year). GT students may also extend research and submit a project which is a current or upcoming assignment.
Plan: Organize your ideas and work on your project. You are responsible for contacting your mentor when you need assistance and respecting his/her schedule, planning and completing your project, and turning it in on time (Monday, March 29th). This project will allow you to practice skills needed for the workplace - responsibility, communication, and adherence to deadlines.
Submit: You will submit a video of no more than five minutes showing and explaining your project. GT students may choose to submit additional documentation/items, as needed. The deadline for submission is Monday, March 29th at 11:59 p.m. More details and submission guidelines will be sent later.
