FROM THE PRINCIPAL...TONY WHITE

Norton Creek has some awesome traditions, and tomorrow's Popsicles in the Park is one of my favorites. There is nothing like seeing the Norton Creek community come together on our beautiful grounds and make memories tomorrow. Our PTO does a fabulous job putting together awesome events like Popsicles in the Park to further enhance our school. Come on out tomorrow night from 6:00 to 8:00 for free popsicles, popcorn, kickball for Eagles with yours truly, and all of your friends at Norton Creek! I promise a great time for everyone who comes out!

Norton Creek is a special place, and it's not just because it's a beautiful building. It's the people. The students, the staff, the families. The community. We are blessed with people who care: from our youngest kindergartners to our fifth graders to every adult. They're invested in making this school the best it can be. Our oldest daughter started kindergarten today, and the thought dawned on me that Mrs. Martin will be her kindergarten teacher forever. When she's 106, Mrs. Martin will still be her kindergarten teacher - because you only get one. In most cases, you only get one elementary school too. Norton Creek belongs to our Eagles just as much as they belong to Norton Creek. We won't let a second pass by where we take that simple but important fact for granted. Events like tomorrow's Popsicles in the Park are a great celebration of that fact.

We hope to see you tomorrow, Norton Creek, for Popsicles in the Park. If you can't make it, I hope you're doing something incredibly fun. And everyday...every weekend...I hope you're spending time with your favorite people in the world!
