Youth Ministry Information
2020-2021
Atoma Youth Ministry
Our Youth Ministry program will seek to cultivate meaningful relationships between the teens. We will examine different teachings of the Catholic Church and apply them to real life situations. We will examine social issues that face our teens on a daily basis but examine it in the context of faith. Our Programming this year will come from the Life Teen Curriculum which uses the Catechism and the Bible as its sources.
Every week each teen should bring a Bible, a journal, and something to write with.
(Please let me know if your teen needs a Bible).

Our teens need YOU! Your Witness Matters!
Confirmation
In the past, Teens in preparation for Confirmation are required to attend both Confirmation classes and the regular faith formation classes. This year we are combining so that teens only need to attend one class.
Our Curriculum for this combined program is "Purpose" by Life Teen. This program will walk students through the Three Big Questions "Why Believe in God?" "Why Trust Jesus?" and "Why be a part of the Church?"
By combing the groups our Middle School Students will have an opportunity to grow together as a community and become leaders for younger students.
Our Confirmation Students will undergo a year of preparation before their confirmation in the Fall of 2021.
If you have any questions about this decision please do not hesitate to reach out!
