Weekly Schedule
Week 1 is in the books
Hello Everyone --
What an awesome week starting a new season in our own pool. It was very exciting to see so many swimmers in the water. We are so thankful to have the Aloha Pool open and a friendly and kind staff to help us as needed.
I want to to say a great big thank you to all of the families that joined us last Wednesday. It was a pleasure to be able to meet all of you and break bread together. I can tell you the food and camaraderie and were wonderful.
As I stated at the meeting, we are coming to a time where we will be splitting part of the team to an A and B schedule. We want to be able to spend the necessary time needed to move our beginner swimmers forward in a more streamlined and focused use of time. On Friday we let those in the water know whether they were A or B schedules. For the time being the A schedule will be Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and the B schedule will be Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays in the water. When we start Dryland on the 2nd of December, all swimmers will follow the Monday and Friday schedule.

SwimSuit Payments and Info
Swim Suit Ordering - Friday- November 18th @ practice -- will continue until
Over my years of coaching, the look of a unified team is so important for team spirit and confidence. In that vein, purchasing a team suit is mandatory. This year we have a new team design and will carry this design for at least four years. Please keep in mind that if your swimmer takes care of their suit, by hand washing and hanging dry, only wearing for competition, the suit can last the rest of their swim career.
The cost for all suits men and women is $70. The cost covers all of the sublimation, the suit and shipping. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to me, we are here to help everyone.
The cost of the suit is found in your swimmers's athletic registration. Please go to the registration and you can pay the athletic fee and the swimsuit fee. We need these fees paid ASAP so that we can get the suits ordered. Thank you.
Athletic Participation Fee
Now that the season has begun, Athletic participation fees are due. The fee is $100 and should be paid through your swimmers' athletic registration. Please take a moment to get that taken care of quickly.
For those who have already paid - thank you!
Nutrition Tip of the Week
Dryland Tip of the Week
I encourage each of you to try dryland at least three times a week. Swimming Specific Yoga is one of my favorite resources. They work on core, specific strokes, shoulder strengthening, breathing etc.... Great workouts that are low impact.
Swimmers are You Prepared for Practice
It is really important that everyone feels ready and prepared for practice:
- Is your athletic registration complete and cleared?
- Do you have your suit?
- Do you have goggles?
- Do you have a towel?
- Do you have a full water bottle? (this is mandatory in order to practice)
- Have you eaten a good breakfast and lunch/ A healthy snack?
- Do you have a great mindset - ready to work?
If you answer yes to all of this you are ready and so are we!!!
Dryland Training Training starts Friday, December 2nd
- You will need to arrive no later than 5:55am ready to work out
- Please wear gym appropriate clothing and shoes
- You will be working out in the weight room and lower gym
- dryland will end around 7:00am
- You will then have time to get ready for your school day - and if at option schools you will have time to get ready and get to school
- This is a resource that many schools do not have - we are very lucky to have this available for you so it is extremely important to take advantage as well as not get an unexcused absence which then means you will miss afternoon practice in the water as well which then is another unexcused practice.
- We are preparing you to be the best athlete you can be
More Swimmers are Always Welcome
