Lone Star Ambassadors of Texas
MEETING TIME HAS BEEN CHANGED:
On JUNE 1st we will be hosting a meeting with representatives from the Lone Star Ambassadors of Music to discuss a bi-annual trip scheduled for the summer of 2018. All current Wakeland HS Band students, as well as band students currently in 7th and 8th grade, are cordially invited to attend this informational meeting.
The Lone Star Ambassadors and Voyageurs International have hosted band students from North Texas every other summer in Europe for many years. We had several Wakeland HS Band students on the 2016 trip. I will be sharing information over the next few weeks with you all, including testaments of our current students who have attended the trip.
If you think your child(ren) would be interested in looking at this 16-day European music tour, please consider attending the meeting. Even those who are looking to attend in 2020 can join us at this meeting to have it in consideration for the future.
*The meeting on JUNE 1st will be following our Full Band Rehearsal at 7:00pm in the Band Hall. If you are unsure about the trip, this is a great opportunity to ask questions and check it out! It is for all current 8th-11th Grade students!
