Middle School Math League!

Thirty nine students competed for the Hornets as a new season began for the Middle School Math Team here yesterday. Three Hornets tied for best 7th grade score of 10 points, and each earned a certificate for this outstanding accomplishment. Congratulations to Carson Komishane, Matt Puchniak, and Beren Schmidt! Leading the way for the 8th grade was Lily Athanas who also reached double digits with 10 points, which helped Team One finish third. The top scoring 6th graders were TJ Brunner, Chase Dickson, and Sessy Gregory who each scored 6. Great job to everyone who participated!

Meet #2 is Thursday, December 8 at Masconomet. New and returning students are welcome. Please see Mr. Stefanek for a practice sheet sometime in November.

A special thank you is in order to Mrs. Kavanagh to all her years coaching the Math Team. Best of luck in the future!
